Karen Hannaford

Started in the industry in 1982 and has worked her way up from assistant through to owner of two successful child care centres on the Gold Coast and South West Darling Downs. Karen has four wonderful children who are nearly all grown up and is committed to helping staff reach their potential through great training and inspirational resources.

Nicole Brick

After gaining her Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood) from Charles Sturt University, Nicole taught preschool and has been a Director since 1994. Currently Nicole is a lecturer at a Gold Coast training college and looks after her gorgeous and active 2 year old son. Nicole wants to help staff "unlock" their imaginations and regain the magic in their teaching lives.

What's in a Name

Both Nicole and Karen are dedicated to enriching the lives of children by inspiring the child care professionals that play such an important role in the children's lives. Jaeke's name was created as a tribute to their wonderful children and all of them are represented.
